Every wanted to know what all those marks on a tape measure are and were afraid to ask. Well here you go!
Reading a tape measure properly is very important. Remember what you were taught, measure twice, cut once.
A tape measure is divided by 16th, 8th, 4th, and 1/2.
The smallest marks between each inch is 1/16th of an inch. Every mark is 1/16 that is why it goes from 1/16 to 1/8 and then to 3/16. We don't say 2/16 in math, we would say that is 1/8th.
The inch is made up of 15/16th. So if you count every mark between the inches you will get 15 marks, or 15/16th.
Darren and his team showed up to work on time. They were very pleasant and businesslike. They got right to work and even though the work took longer than they anticipated they stayed until they were finished and the result was quality work done at a fair price. Darren is a straight shooter and was willing to go the extra mile. We had contacted 3 companies to perform the work and of the 3 Darren was the only one who called back when they said they would and showed up on time ready to work. If you need anything done around the house that you cannot do yourself I would highly recommend Owl Handyman and plan to have them back to do more for us!

I had Stacy do some work for my sisters new rental property. He came in and worked for 4 days, over the 4th of July weekend, no complaints. Highly recommend him! He found a leak in the bathroom wall that turned into two leaks. If he would not have found them I don't want to think of all the damage it could have caused. He even offered to pay for the licensed plumber that he had to call. He has initiative, honesty, and is a hardworker. Very friendly and polite. I don't think you can find anyone that can beat his prices either.

Stacy installed a glass bathroom faucet for me. He did a great job and even took the initiative to buy some faucet hole covers for me as I went from using a 3 hole faucet to using a 1 hole faucet. Great job and I would recommend him. Can't beat his prices!

Stacy and his crew at Owl Handy-Man Service did a terrific job in repairing and repositioning my sprinkler system. We had a deadline to have the job done in time for a major concrete pour.

Stacy came out to fix a lot of little things as I am moving back to the mainland and preparing the house to be rented for the first time. He did a great job fixing ceiling fans, replaced a bath tub spout and a sink stopper. He also installed a screen door for me and installed a lock and deadbolt on the screen door. He went to the store with me and helped pick it out and then he put it in his truck and delivered it. I am using his as my property manager while I am living on the mainland. He can be trusted and has great prices.

I could no longer get in touch with my regular handy-man. I found Owl's by getting lucky. He shows up on time, when he says he wil be there or do something, he does it. Very fair prices and he guarentees it. The 10% off of supplies he buys at market prices is a plus to. Really just pay his hourly fee, what a deal! My clients are happy that I am saving them money by using Owl's services.

I wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful job Eric and Bobby did on revamping my sprinkling/irrigation system. It is now worry-free and I know all my plants and grass will be thriving. The pressure is so much better also. Eric took the time to find out what was wrong in several places and repaired/replaced what was necessary with the most efficient and current products. Eric is very knowledgeable on all landscaping aspects which was so helpful and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong, how he was going to fix it and educated me on how exactly the products worked.
